Raw Organic Cacao Nibs are made from crushed cacao beans, and is the cacao in its most natural form, before anything else is added. These raw nibs are crunchy, flavourful, and packed with iron, magnesium, antioxidants, and fibre. They are often used in smoothies, baking and pastry.
The raw nibs come from select ground, unfermented or partially fermented, sun-dried organic cacao beans, which are then cold-pressed. Sun-drying preserves the antioxidants and mineral benefits of the beans.
The cocoa we use is sourced from sustainable co-operatives in production zones located in the Brazilian Atlantic Forest and the Amazon region. The ecosystem in these places has some of the greatest biodiversity on the planet.
Surrounded by native vegetation, the cacao crop integrates rather than disrupts the native ecosystem.
